Beauveria bassiana is a fungal insecticide with a wide insecticidal spectrum, long lasting effect, non-toxic and non-polluting, and is the first choice agent for the production of green agricultural products and organic agricultural products to control various pests.

1. Insecticide mechanism
Beauveria bassiana is a pathogenic fungus that, under suitable environmental conditions after application, can reproduce and produce conidia. When the conidia come into contact with pests, they can attach to the epidermis of the pests. The conidia sprout and form a bud tube, and the top of the bud tube produces lipase, proteases, and chitinase to dissolve the insect's shell and invade the host for growth and reproduction. A large amount of nutrients are consumed in the body of pests, forming a large number of hyphae and spores that cover the insect body. It can also produce toxins such as white muscardin, egg spore white muscardin, and egg spore muscardin, disrupting the metabolism of pests and ultimately leading to death.

(1) Broad insecticidal spectrum: Beauveria bassiana can parasitize more than 700 species of insects and mites from 15 orders and 149 families including Lepidoptera, Hymenoptera, Homoptera, and Orthoptera. Such as pine caterpillars, corn borers, sorghum borers, soybean heartworms, weevils, potato beetles, tea green leafhoppers, rice bracts, rice leafhoppers, rice planthoppers, mole crickets, grubs, wireworms, cutworms, leek maggots, garlic maggots, etc. underground and above ground.
(2) No drug resistance: Beauveria bassiana is a microbial fungicide that kills pests mainly through parasitic reproduction. Therefore, it can be used continuously for many years without developing drug resistance.
(3) Safe to use: Beauveria bassiana is a microbial fungus that only affects host pests. No matter what concentration is used in production, no harm will occur, making it the most reliable pesticide.

3. Applicable crops
Beauveria bassiana can theoretically be used on all plants. At present, it is commonly used in production to control underground and aboveground pests such as wheat, corn, peanuts, soybeans, potatoes, sweet potatoes, scallions, garlic, chives, eggplants, chili peppers, tomatoes, watermelons, cucumbers, etc. It can also be used in trees such as pine, poplar, willow, locust, and acacia, as well as apple, pear, apricot, plum, cherry, pomegranate, persimmon, mango, lychee, longan, guava, jujube, walnut, and other fruit trees.
4. Prevention and control objects
Mainly used to control underground pests such as pine caterpillar, corn borer, sorghum borer, soybean borer, peach fruit borer, stem borer, rice leaf roller, cabbage caterpillar, sugar beet armyworm, striped armyworm, diamondback moth, elephantiasis, potato beetle, tea leafhopper, longhorn beetle, American white moth, rice bract, rice leafhopper, rice planthopper, mole cricket, white grub, golden needle worm, ground tiger, leek maggot, garlic maggot, etc.
5. How to use
(1) Prevention and control of pests such as leek maggots, garlic maggots, and root maggots: Apply pesticides during the peak period of the young larvae of leek maggots, that is, when the leaf tips of leek leaves start to turn yellow and soft and collapse gradually to the ground. Use 250-300 grams of 15 billion spores/gram of Beauveria bassiana granules per acre each time, mixed with fine sand or sand, or mixed with plant ash, bran, wheat bran, etc. It can also be mixed with various fertilizers, organic fertilizers, and seedbed fertilizers for hole application, ditch application, or spraying around the soil of crop roots.
(2) Prevention and control of underground pests such as mole crickets, white grubs, and golden needles: Before sowing or planting, use 250-300 grams per acre of 15 billion pores/gram of Beauveria bassiana granules, 10 kilograms of fine soil, or mix it with wheat bran, soybean meal, corn meal, etc. for spraying, furrow or hole application, and then sow or plant, which can effectively control the harm of various underground pests.
(3) Prevention and control of diamondback moth, corn borer, locust and other pests: it can be sprayed in the early stage of pests. 20 billion spores/g of Beauveria bassiana can disperse 20~50 ml of oil suspension per mu each time , and 30 kg of water can be added. spray in cloudy or sunny afternoon can effectively prevent and control the above pests.
(4) Prevention and control of pine caterpillar, tea green leafhopper and other pests: 40 billion spores/gram of Beauveria bassiana suspension can be spray with 2000~2500 times liquid.
(5) Prevention and control of longhorned beetles in trees such as apples, pears, poplars, locusts, and willows: A suspension of 40 billion spores/gram of Beauveria bassiana at a concentration of 1500 times can be used to inject the wormhole.
(6) Control of pests such as poplar moth, bamboo locust and American white moth: at the initial stage of pest occurrence, 40 billion spores/gram of Beauveria bassiana suspension were evenly sprayed with 1500-2500 times of liquid.
