At present, there are 5 kinds of mainstream registered brassinolide products on the market: 24-mixed epibrasinolide (about 60%-70% is 22, 23, 24-epibrasinolide, about 30%- 40% are 24-epibrasinolide), 24-epibrassinolide, 28-epihomobrasinolide, 28-homobrasinolide, 14-hydroxybrassinosterol.

 

At present, there is only one compound called 14-hydroxybrasinosterol, which is called natural brassinolide, which is extracted from the pollen of rapeseed flowers.

 

Although brassinolide has a wide range of applications, it can be used in almost all crops; from seed soaking to restoration of tree vigor after harvest, the entire crop growth process can be used; various application methods, such as seed dressing, seed soaking, drip irrigation, root drenching, leaf spraying to aerial Spraying, etc.; with comprehensive effects, convenient mixing, and a wide range of application concentrations, it is called a "panacea".

 

However, in these several cases, the "panacea" brassinolide must be disabled:

 

1. It is forbidden to mix with alkaline pesticides and chemical fertilizers


Do not mix brassinolide with alkaline fertilizers: calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer, plant ash, ammonium bicarbonate, sodium nitrate, potassium nitrate, nitro compound fertilizer, ammonia water, etc., and do not mix with alkaline pesticides: Bordeaux mixture, lime sulfur mixture Wait, otherwise there may be injury.

 

2. Do not mix with herbicides

4. Do not spray brassinolide on rainy days or when there is rainfall within 6 hours

 

When brassinolide is sprayed on the leaves of crops, it takes a certain amount of time to be absorbed by the crops. If it rains, the rain will wash away the liquid medicine, and at the same time, it will dilute a certain concentration, resulting in a greater effect of brassinolide. 5. Do not use brassinolide at high temperature

 

Spraying brassinolide on the leaves should not be at noon, which is when the temperature is the highest. At this time, the leaf surface evaporates quickly. First, it is not easy for crops to absorb it. At the same time, it is to prevent the high temperature from quickly evaporating water and increasing the concentration of brassinolide solution.


6. Do not use in high concentration

 

Brassinolide is a chemical substance with a biomimetic sterol structure. There is a certain concentration suitable for use. If the concentration is too high, it will not only cause waste, but may also inhibit crops to varying degrees.

 

7. Brassinolide is not a foliar fertilizer

 

Brassinolide is a plant growth regulator and belongs to the category of pesticides. It is not a foliar fertilizer. Brassinolide itself has no nutrition. It indirectly regulates crop growth by regulating the plant's endogenous hormone system. It has a lot to do with foliar fertilizers.
