1. Introduction to the agent
This agent is Abamectin·Fosthiazate, which is a compound of abamectin and fosthiazate. Abamectin is a biological root-knot nematode control agent with contact and stomach poison effects. It acts on the nervous system of pests to kill nematodes. Fosthiazate is a contact and systemic nematicide. It can hinder the activity of nematodes at low doses and prevent nematodes from invading plant roots.
After the two are mixed, the co-toxicity coefficient reaches 216, which has a significant combined synergistic effect. It has contact and stomach poison effects, good systemicity, and a long lasting effect. It is currently the most economical and affordable nematicide.
2. Main features
(1) Good rapidity: Abamectin·Fosthiazate has a complementary effect and acts on the nervous system of nematodes. Once the nematodes come into contact with the agent, they will be poisoned within 15 minutes and stop moving and causing harm. It is currently the fastest nematicide.
(2) Long lasting effect: Abamectin·Fosthiazate is relatively stable in the soil and can continuously kill root-knot nematodes in the soil. Fosthiazate has good systemic conductivity. After being absorbed by the crop roots, it can remain in the crop body for a long time to achieve the purpose of continuous insecticide. The general lasting effect can reach about 4 months, and the longest can reach 6 months.
(3) Good safety: Abamectin·Fosthiazate is safe for crops and will not cause phytotoxicity. Abamectin is a macrolide insecticide with contact and stomach toxicity. 3. Main dosage forms

4. Usage
(1) Soil treatment: On the day of sowing, transplanting or planting crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, and watermelons, use 2-4 kg/mu of 11% Abamectin·Fosthiazate granules, mix the granules with 15-20 kg of fine soil or organic fertilizer, and apply by spreading, furrowing or hole application. After the agent is fully mixed with the soil, sow or transplant the crops, and then water.
(2) Root dipping treatment: On the day of planting or transplanting tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelons, and melons, dip the roots with 750 times the dilution of 21% Abamectin·Fosthiazate emulsion, then plant and cover with soil, which can better control the damage of root-knot nematodes.
(3) Root irrigation: In the early stage of root-knot nematode occurrence in crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, tobacco, grapes, bananas, watermelons, and melons, use 500-1000 ml of 21% Abamectin·Fosthiazate emulsion, add 750 kg of water, mix well, and then irrigate the roots. Apply 200-300 ml of the solution to each plant to quickly control the damage of root-knot nematodes.
