How to use Diflufenican·Isoproturon to kill weeds?

In the process of growing wheat, there will be many weeds. Such as: wormwood, hard grass, bluegrass, Japanese wheatgrass, pigweed, Polygonum curly, purslane, nightshade, chickweed, sowwort and so on. These vicious weeds once became a headache for weeding in wheat fields! This article introduces Jiner’s study of the wheat field sealing herbicide pyrflufenacil·isopropuron.

What is diflufenican?

Diflufenican is a substituted pyridylanilide herbicide. This herbicide is mainly used to control a variety of annual grass weeds and certain broadleaf weeds in corn, soybean and wheat fields.

This variety is a selective contact and residual herbicide. Its mode of action is to inhibit carotenoid biosynthesis by inhibiting phytoene dehydrogenase, thereby causing chlorophyll destruction and cell rupture, causing weed death. It is a broad spectrum selective wheat field herbicide.

What is Isoproturon?

The herbicide Isoproturon is an example of new use of old drugs. Isoproturon has been used to control weeds in wheat fields for a long time. Isoproturon is a selective herbicide that replaces urea, a systemic soil treatment agent and a stem and leaf treatment agent. The pesticide is conducted by the roots of the plant and accumulates in the leaves, inhibiting photosynthesis and causing the death of the weeds. Isoproturon can be used in combination with other pharmaceuticals.

advantages

1. It has a broad spectrum of killing weeds and kills both grasses and grasses.

Diflufenican has a significant effect on overwintering weeds, such as common wheat field weeds such as pigweed, mother-in-law, shepherd's purse, and Artemisia vulgaris. In addition, diflufenican also has good control effect on gramineous weeds, such as bluegrass, barnyard grass, wheatgrass, crabgrass, multiflora ryegrass, etc.

2. It can be used for post-emergence weeding and pre-emergence closed weeding.

Diflufenican is registered as a treatment for post-emergent weed stems and leaves of wheat, but it also has the effect of sealing weeding. After application, a medical film can be formed on the soil surface. Germinating weeds cannot carry out photosynthesis after contacting the medical film. Chlorophyll synthesis is destroyed, thereby achieving the purpose of closed weeding.

3. Special effect on malignant weeds Juncao

Isoproturon is a special agent for wheat field fungus, and Isoproturon is not expensive and has high cost performance. The two agents can be used in combination.

The herbicidal mechanisms of diflufenican and Isoproturon are different, so that the herbicidal spectrum can be expanded and the effect of one drug can be eliminated.

At the same time, it should be noted that these two chemicals are soil treatment agents, so they can also be used for closed weeding in wheat fields.

Instructions

The first one can be used for sealing and weeding of wheat fields. 2-3 days after sowing wheat seeds, use 100-140 ml of 39% diflufenican·Isoproturon per acre for field sealing treatment.

Second, before the wheat turns green to jointing, the weeds are sprayed once on the stems and leaves at the 2-3 leaf stage, and 39% diflufenican·Isoproturon 140-200 ml per acre is used for stem and leaf treatment.

Precautions

1. If this compound agent is used as a sealing agent, be sure to pay attention to rainy weather. Drizzle is not a problem, but heavy rain after sealing and weeding will cause the wheat seedlings to turn white.

2. Do not use pesticides in windy weather. The effect will not be good and it will cause drifting, causing damage to other crops.

3. Although Isoproturon is safe for wheat, it will reduce the frost resistance of wheat seedlings. If a cold snap occurs after taking the medicine (within 20 days after taking the medicine), it is easy to cause "freezing damage", which will cause the wheat seedlings to turn yellow, inhibit their growth, and in severe cases, the leaves will die. Farmers should avoid the first cold wave in winter when using it. After the first cold wave, wheat undergoes low-temperature training and its frost resistance is enhanced. Plots that have not been treated with medicine in the early stage can use "cold tail and warm head medicine".
