How to use Flonicamid

1. About flonicamid

Flonicamid is a broad-spectrum and highly effective insecticide that has good activity against almost all lepidopteran pests. It effectively controls the adults and larvae of lepidopteran pests, especially the larvae. It has a fast action speed and a long lasting effect, and is deeply loved by consumers.

2. Insecticidal mechanism

Flonicamid is a diamide insecticide that mainly acts on the nicotinic receptors of pests. It stimulates the precipitation of calcium ions in the insect body, weakens muscle function, affects insect behavior, and causes pests to stop feeding quickly. It only takes about 7 minutes for pests to stop feeding and stop causing harm.

3. Main features

(1) Good rapid effect: Flonicamid mainly acts on the nicotinic receptors of pests, causing the uncontrolled release of calcium ions in pests, and the pests can be knocked down in 7 minutes.

(2) Good compatibility: Flonicamid can be mixed with a variety of agents. For example: mixing thiacloprid, emamectin benzoate, insecticide, spirotetramat, buprofezin, imidacloprid, etc. It not only expands the insecticide spectrum, but also improves the insecticide effect.

4. Applicable crops

It can be widely used in soybeans, peanuts, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, watermelons, peach trees, pear trees, apples, corn, cotton, gourds, grapes, walnuts, tobacco, alfalfa, tea trees, etc.

5. Control targets

Flonicamid mainly controls pests such as cotton bollworm, beet armyworm, corn borer, cutworm, diamondback moth, cabbage looper, and fall armyworm.

6. Usage

(1) To control pests such as cabbage looper, cotton bollworm, beet armyworm, and cutworm, use it during the peak hatching period of pest eggs or the early larval stage. Use 10 to 15 ml of 12% emamectin benzoate·flonicamid suspension per mu each time, and spray evenly with 30 kg of water.

(2) To control corn borers, apply the pesticide during the corn bell mouth stage, that is, from the peak period of corn borer egg hatching to the peak period of 1-2 instar larvae. Use 70-100 grams of 80% fluorobenzene·insecticidal single wettable powder per mu each time, add 30 kg of water and spray evenly. Apply the pesticide twice per season, and generally the interval between continuous applications is 7-10 days.

Precautions

Flonicamid is prone to drug resistance. When using it, try to mix it with emamectin benzoate, avermectin, and insecticide single. This not only reduces costs and improves control effectiveness, but also delays pest resistance.

Flonicamid is best applied all day on cloudy days or in the morning and evening on sunny days.
