What are the applications of cypermethrin?

Suitable crops

Vegetables, cotton, tobacco, soybeans, sugar beets, fruit trees, tea trees, flowers, green trees, etc. Control target vegetable pests such as cabbage caterpillar, diamondback moth, cabbage borer, beet armyworm, spodoptera litura, yellow stalk melon, yellow striped flea beetle, tobacco budworm, onion thrips, etc.; cotton pests such as cotton aphid, cotton bollworm, cotton red bollworm, Bridge builders, leaf rollers, diamonds, cotton leafhoppers, cotton thrips, etc.; oil plant and economic crop pests such as soybean borer, bean pod borer, bean hornworm, bridge builder, etc.; fruit tree pests such as peach small borer, peach borer , pear borer, leaf miner, poisonous moth, stinging moth, aphids, etc.; tea tree pests such as tea caterpillar, tea looper, tea fine moth, tea green leafhopper, stinging moth, etc.; forest pests such as pine caterpillar, poplar boat moth, American white Moths, etc.; health pests such as flies, mosquitoes, etc.

Application technology Take 10% cypermethrin EC, 4.5% cypermethrin EC and 4.5% cypermethrin WP as examples.

(1) Prevention and control of vegetable pests

① Cabbage caterpillar and diamondback moth In the early larval stage, use 10% cypermethrin EC 300~600mL/hm2, mix water to 2000~5000 times and spray evenly. It can also treat flea beetle, yellow shougua, spodoptera litura and budworm, and it also has a good effect on thrips onion. However, the control effect of diamondback moth that has developed resistance has declined, and other insecticides should be used instead, and the dosage or concentration should not be increased blindly to avoid accelerated development of resistance.

② Bean borer When the beans are blooming and before the pods are damaged by the first-instar larvae, dilute with 450-750mL/hm2 of 10% cypermethrin emulsifiable concentrate with water and spray evenly.

③ Cabbage aphid Control during the peak period of the occurrence of wingless aphids, spray evenly with 4.5% cypermethrin EC 20-30mL mixed with water 40-50kg per mu.

④ Thrips: When the rate of aphid plants reaches 30% or the rate of rolling leaf plants is 5%, control is carried out, and 30-50mL of 4.5% cypermethrin EC is sprayed evenly with 40-50kg of water per mu.

(2) Control cotton pests

① Cotton bollworm, cotton pink bollworm a. Use 10% cypermethrin EC at 750mL/hm2 at the egg hatching stage, and control once every 7 days or so. In order to avoid drug resistance, it can be used in rotation without cross-resistance, and at the same time, it can also control diamond and bridge-building insects. b. Apply pesticides at the peak hatching stage of the 2nd to 3rd generation cotton eggs, spray evenly with 4.5% cypermethrin EC 30~50mL mixed with 40~50kg water per mu.

② Cotton aphid a. Spray evenly with 10% cypermethrin EC 225~450mL/hm2 mixed with water. Spray up to 2 times in each growing season, continuous use is easy to produce drug resistance, and other agents should be used if drug resistance has appeared. b. When the rate of aphid plants reaches 30% or the rate of rolling leaf plants is 5%, control is carried out. Spray evenly with 4.5% cypermethrin EC 30-50mL mixed with 40-50kg of water per mu.

(3) Prevention and control of fruit tree pests

① Small apple borer and peach borer Dilute 1500-3000 times with 10% cypermethrin EC and water and spray evenly, which can also control aphids.

② Peach borer and pear borer: Spray evenly with 1500-2500 times of 10% cypermethrin EC before the egg-fruit rate is about 1%, and before the first instar larvae damage the fruit. At the same time, it can also control foliar pests such as aphids, caterpillars, and moths.

③ Citrus leaf miner a. In the early stage of tip setting, dilute 4000~6000 times with 10% cypermethrin EC and spray evenly, and at the same time, it can also control foliar pests such as orange aphid and leaf tortrix. b. Control at the early stage of shooting and the peak hatching stage of eggs, and spray evenly with 2250~3000 times of 4.5% cypermethrin EC per mu.

④ Citrus red wax scale In the peak egg hatching stage, dilute 900 times with 4.5% cypermethrin EC mixed with water and spray evenly.

(4) Prevention and control of pests in oil plants and commercial crops

① Bean hornworm and soybean borer Dilute with 10% cypermethrin EC 525~675mL/hm2 with water and spray evenly. It can also treat bridge-building insects.

② Tobacco budworm Apply at the 2nd to 3rd instar larval stage, and spray evenly with 4.5% cypermethrin EC 25~40mL mixed with water 60~75kg per mu.

(5) Prevention and control of tea tree pests, such as tea leafhoppers and tea geometrids.

① Dilute 2000~3000 times with 10% cypermethrin emulsifiable concentrate mixed with water and spray evenly. To control tea geometrids, it is advisable to use drugs before the third age, which can also control tea caterpillars, small leaf rollers and slug moths.

② Tea geometrids are sprayed at the 2nd to 3rd instar larvae blooming stage, and sprayed evenly with 25~40mL of 4.5% cypermethrin EC and 60~75kg of water per mu.

(6) Prevention and control of sanitary pests

① Adult mosquitoes and housefly adults Dilute 4.5% cypermethrin wettable powder 0.1~0.4g/m2 with water 250 times for residual spraying.

② Cockroaches Dilute 4.5% cypermethrin wettable powder 0.9g/m2 with water 250-300 times in cockroach habitats and activity places, and carry out residual spraying.

③ Ants Dilute 4.5% cypermethrin wettable powder 1.1~2.2g/m2 with water 250~300 times for residual spraying.

(7) Prevention and control of forest pests For pine caterpillars, poplar boat moths, and American white moths, spray evenly with 4000-8000 times of 4.5% cypermethrin EC at the 2nd to 3rd instar larval stage, and the spraying amount of the aircraft is 60-150mL/hm2.

Precautions

(1) Do not increase the dosage and frequency of application at will, and pay attention to alternate use with non-pyrethrin pesticides.

(2) Do not mix with alkaline substances such as Bordeaux mixture.

(3) It is extremely poisonous to aquatic organisms, bees, and silkworms, so care must be taken not to pollute waters and bee and silkworm breeding sites during use.

(4) It should be stored in a cool and ventilated warehouse, away from fire and heat sources, prevent direct sunlight, and keep the container tightly sealed.
