1. Iron deficiency and chlorosis: It is a common nutritional disorder in blueberries. The main symptom is chlorosis between the veins, and the veins are also chlorotic in severe cases, and the symptoms on the upper leaves of the new shoots are heavier. The main causes of iron deficiency and chlorosis are high soil pH, calcareous soil, and insufficient organic matter content.
The most effective method is to apply ferrous sulfate and acidic fertilizer ammonium sulfate, and it will be more effective if acid peat is mixed with soil improvement. Foliar spraying integrated iron 0.1% ~ 0.3%, the effect is better.
2. Magnesium deficiency: chlorosis between leaf margins and veins during berry maturity, mainly on the rapidly growing new shoots and old leaves, and then the chlorotic parts turn yellow and finally red. Magnesium deficiency can be corrected by applying magnesium oxide or magnesium sulfate to the soil.
3. Boron deficiency: The symptoms are abnormal bud opening, withering of the terminal bud a few weeks after germination, turning dark brown, and finally dying at the top. The main cause of boron deficiency is insufficient soil moisture. Fully irrigated, foliar spray 0.3% ~ 0.5% borax solution can be corrected.
