What are the functions of humic acid water-soluble fertilizer?

Water-soluble fertilizer containing humic acid is a fertilizer made by integrating humic acid with various nutrients through technical action. It not only has the function of adding nutrients as a fertilizer, but also specifically utilizes a series of properties of humic acid, giving it a dual role.

The main functions of humic acid

1. Humic acid is a soil conditioner

Humic acid can promote the formation of soil aggregate structure and adjust soil pH, thereby helping to improve the soil's water retention, fertilizer retention, insulation and ventilation capabilities.

2. Humic acid is a synergist for fertilizers

Humic acid itself does not have many nutrients, but it gives full play to the role of humic acid in controlling nitrogen and slowing release, decomposing phosphorus and increasing efficiency, preventing potassium leaching, and activating micronutrients. Humic acid is used together with other fertilizers to improve the utilization rate of other fertilizers.

3. Humic acid is a good additive for pesticides

Mixed with pesticides, it can effectively exert its good dispersion and emulsification effects, thereby improving pesticide activity and increasing pesticide efficacy.

4. Humic acid is a promoter of plant growth

Humic acid can increase seed suspension rate and germination potential, stimulate crop root growth, increase metabolic enzyme activity in plants, enhance crop stress resistance, improve photosynthesis efficiency, and significantly improve the quality of agricultural products.

How to judge the quality of humic acid fertilizer?

1. See dissolution. Put the humic acid fertilizer into the water and observe how quickly it dissolves, whether it can be completely dissolved, and whether there is any sediment. Generally good quality humic acid fertilizers perform well.

2. Look at the appearance color. Active mineral source fulvic acid has a black or dark brown appearance with a metallic luster. This is high-quality humic acid. Inferior humic acid has a dull black appearance with no metallic luster. If it is humic acid fertilizer granules, you can rub them vigorously with your hands. If the color fades and is difficult to wash off with water, there is also suspicion of dyeing. You can also crush the particles to see if the color inside and outside is uniformly dark brown. If it is just black on the outside and white on the inside (or other colors), it may be dyed.

3. Determine whether the new humic acid has been activated. Some humic acid fertilizers add raw humic acid powder that has not been activated or has a very low degree of activation. The humic acid fertilizer made with it is ineffective and slow to take effect. Take trousers mineral powder as an example. Although the mineral powder also contains reef content, the effect is very slow and poor. Only when it is processed into perfluorate calcium phosphate can the best effect be exerted. The same goes for humic acid, which needs to be activated before it can exert its fertilizer effect. If you see humic acid fertilizers at very low prices, they are most likely humic acid fertilizers with raw powder added, so be sure to pay attention.

Functional characteristics of humic acid fertilizer

Promote roots and strengthen seedlings, activate soil, enhance photosynthesis, and enhance crop resistance to disease, premature aging, repeated cropping, premature aging, cold resistance, frost resistance and lodging resistance; preserve flowers and fruits, improve quality, and significantly increase yields; it can alleviate and restore crops from fertilizer damage and chemical damage caused by improper application of pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers, and can reduce the residual amount of harmful substances in crops.
