What are the techniques and precautions for the use of CPPU (Forchlorfenuron KT-30)?

1. The use technology of CPPU (Forchlorfenuron KT-30:

Separately made into oil

Because CPPU itself is a new type of high-efficiency plant growth regulator, it can be made into oil alone.

CPPU can be made into 0.1% or 0.5% EC, dipping, smearing or foliar spraying can make the fruit expand rapidly, and the expansion rate is generally about 60%.

2. Precautions for CPPU (Forchlorfenuron KT-30:

(1) If the concentration of grapes is too high, it is easy to reduce the content of soluble solids, increase the acidity, slow down the coloring, and delay the ripening.

(2) Use on old, weak, diseased plants or weak branches without fruit thinning, and the fruit expansion is not significant; in order to ensure the nutrients required for fruit expansion, the fruit should be properly thinned, and the amount of fruit should not be too much.

(3)CPPU (Forchlorfenuron KT-30)  is used for fruit setting, mainly for flower and fruit processing, and should be used with caution on melons and watermelons, especially when the concentration is high, it is easy to produce melons, bitter taste, and later split melons, etc. side effect.

(4) Mixed use of CPPU (Forchlorfenuron KT-30)  and Gibberellin Gibberellic Acid GA3or Auxin is better than single use, but it must be carried out under the guidance of professionals or under the premise of first testing and then demonstration, and do not use it arbitrarily.

(5) Re-spray in case of rain within 12 hours after treatment.

(6) The concentration of CPPU cannot be increased arbitrarily, otherwise bitterness, hollowness, deformed fruit and other phenomena are likely to occur.

(7) CPPU cannot be administered repeatedly

(8) In case of high temperature or the temperature in the greenhouse is above 28°C, the amount of water added must be increased by 10-30%;

(9) Use with caution in easily dehiscent fruit varieties.
