Due to high temperature and humidity, pests and diseases are prone to occur, especially gray mold. The damage is getting worse year by year and has become one of the most difficult diseases to eradicate in greenhouse vegetable cultivation. Today, I would like to recommend an excellent agent for the prevention and treatment of gray mold - boscalid. It has preventive, therapeutic and eradication effects on gray mold.

1. Mechanism of action
Boscalid mainly inhibits the synthesis of succinate dehydrogenase, an energy substance in the mitochondria of the pathogen, so that amino acids, sugars and other substances cannot be synthesized, interferes with cell division and growth, and achieves the purpose of killing the pathogen. It has preventive, protective and therapeutic effects on gray mold, sclerotinia, powdery mildew and many other diseases.
2. Main features
(1) Broad fungicide spectrum: Boscalid is a broad-spectrum fungicide that can effectively prevent and treat more than 10 diseases such as gray mold, sclerotinia, powdery mildew, root rot, early blight, etc. It has good protective and therapeutic effects, especially for gray mold.
(2) No cross-resistance: Boscalid is the latest generation of amide fungicides. It has no cross-resistance with traditional fungicides such as cyproconazole, procymidone, and pyrimethanil. It is the first choice for the treatment of resistant gray mold.
(3) Strong permeability: Boscalid has good permeability and vertical permeability. It can penetrate through the leaf tissue to the back of the leaf, achieving the effect of treating the disease through the leaves.
(4) More thorough treatment: Boscalid mainly kills the pathogen by inhibiting the synthesis of substances in the mitochondria of the pathogen. It has a good killing effect on all stages of the pathogen. More thorough treatment.
(5) Good systemic conductivity: Boscalid can be transmitted to the leaf tips and leaf edges of the plant through the xylem, which can better prevent and control diseases occurring in various parts of the plant.
(6) Good compatibility: Boscalid can be mixed with a variety of fungicides such as azoxystrobin, pyraclostrobin, procymidone, fludioxonil, etc., which not only expands the fungicide spectrum but also reduces the drug resistance of pathogens.
3. Applicable crops
It is mainly used for the prevention and control of diseases of crops such as rapeseed, cucumber, tomato, pepper, eggplant, grape, etc.
4. Control targets
It is mainly used to prevent and control various diseases such as gray mold, powdery mildew, rot, root rot, early blight, sclerotinia, etc. It is especially effective against gray mold of tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, and sclerotinia of rapeseed and eggplant.
5. Usage technology
(1) To prevent and control gray mold of greenhouse vegetables such as cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, and eggplants, 30-60 ml of 38% azoxystrobin·boscalid suspension can be used at the early stage of the disease, mixed with 30 kg of water and sprayed evenly, which can quickly control the damage and spread of gray mold. The prevention effect can reach more than 98%.
(2) To prevent and control sclerotinia rot of crops such as eggplant and rapeseed, 30-50 g/mu of 50% boscalid water-dispersible granules can be used, diluted with 30-40 liters of water. This can effectively prevent and control the continued harm of sclerotinia rot, with a prevention rate of more than 85%.
