Abamectin Pesticide 10 sc 100 g/l sc is a widely used agricultural or veterinary fungicide, insecticide, and acaricide. It has stomach poisoning and contact killing effects on mites and insects (cannot kill eggs).

Mode of Action	Abamectin has stomach poisoning and contact effects on mites and insects, but cannot kill eggs. The mechanism of action is different from that of general pesticides in that it interferes with neurophysiological activities and stimulates the release of γ-aminobutyric acid, which has an inhibitory effect on the nerve conduction of arthropods. Mite adults, nymphs and insect larvae will develop symptoms of paralysis after contact with avermectin, become inactive, stop feeding, and die after 2 to 4 days. Because it does not cause rapid dehydration of insects, the lethal effect of abamectin is slow.

Application

The main functions of abamectin are contact killing, stomach poisoning, and strong penetrating power. It not only has insecticidal effect, but also has certain bactericidal effect.
Abamectin mainly interferes with the neurophysiological activities of pests and inhibits the nerve conduction of pests. The main control targets include at least 84 pests of the order Acarina, Coleoptera, Hemiptera, and Lepidoptera.
Abamectin compounded with other pharmaceutical effects. For example, chlorantraniliprole can be used to control lepidopteran pests, etoxazole and spirodiclofen can be used to control red spider mites, and thiazophosphate can be used to control nematodes.
