Spirodiclofen offers multiple advantages, including a broad acaricidal spectrum, high adaptability, efficacy against both eggs and nymphs, a long residual period, low toxicity, low residue, excellent safety, and no cross-resistance. It can be tank-mixed for immediate use with most pesticides, except for strong alkaline pesticides and copper preparations.

Spirodiclofen exhibits excellent control efficacy against mite eggs and nymphs. Although it is ineffective against adult mites, it inhibits the hatching rate of eggs laid by female adults; 96% of the eggs laid by female adults after contact with the chemical fail to hatch and die in the late embryonic stage.

Spirodiclofen provides excellent control against red spiders, yellow spiders, rust mites, yellow tea mites, carmine spider mites, and two-spotted spider mites. It can be widely used for mite management in fruit trees such as citrus and grapes, as well as Solanaceous crops like eggplant, pepper, and tomato.Spirodiclofen offers a long residual effect and excellent rainfastness once applied to crop leaves; a moderate rainfall occurring just two hours after spraying will not compromise its efficacy.
