Cyromazine is a low-toxicity insect growth regulator (IGR) with high selectivity, primarily exhibiting activity against dipteran insects. Its mechanism of action involves inducing morphological abnormalities in the larvae and pupae of dipterans, which leads to incomplete or suppressed adult emergence.
