Structural Formula

Imidacloprid 70% WDG is compatible with most common herbicides. herbicides that work well include glyphosate, glufosinate, paraquat, atrazine, mesotrione, 2,4-D amine, dicamba, and clethodim. When mixing with 2,4-D ester, add the imidacloprid first and allow it to fully disperse before adding the herbicide. The ester formulation can cause the WDG to clump if added first.

Not compatible with herbicides that are strongly alkaline. This includes some formulations of paraquat that have a high pH. Check the pH of your herbicide before mixing. If the pH is above 8.5, do not mix.

Imidacloprid 70% WDG is compatible with most fungicides. Tested fungicides that work well include mancozeb, chlorothalonil, copper oxychloride, copper hydroxide, sulfur, tebuconazole, propiconazole, and azoxystrobin.

Not compatible with fungicides that contain lime or calcium hydroxide. These are strongly alkaline and will degrade imidacloprid. Also not compatible with Bordeaux mixture, which is highly alkaline. If you must use copper products, use copper oxychloride or copper hydroxide instead of Bordeaux.

Many growers like to add foliar fertilizers to the spray tank to save a separate pass over the field. Imidacloprid 70% WDG is compatible with most liquid nitrogen fertilizers such as urea ammonium nitrate. It is compatible with most potassium fertilizers such as potassium nitrate and potassium sulfate. It is compatible with most micronutrient blends if the pH is between 5 and 8.

Not compatible with fertilizers that contain calcium nitrate when mixed in high concentrations. The calcium can react with the dispersants and cause the imidacloprid to settle out. If you must use calcium nitrate, add it last and spray immediately. Do not let the mixture sit for more than one hour.
