A Spanish Customer Ordered 1000L Of Spinosad 480g/l SC

Spinosad is a novel biological insecticide with a unique chemical structure, combining safety and rapid action, low toxicity, low residue, and good safety profile.

Spinosad

It exhibits the characteristic symptoms of neurotoxin poisoning. Its mechanism of action involves stimulating the insect's nervous system, increasing its spontaneous activity, leading to non-functional muscle contraction and exhaustion, accompanied by tremors and paralysis. This demonstrates sustained activation of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, resulting in a prolonged acetylcholine release response.

Furthermore, it also acts on γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors, further enhancing its insecticidal activity. The half-life of spinosad in soil photodegradation is 9-10 days, in leaves it is 1.6-16 days, and in water it is less than 1 day.

Target Pests

Spiroxacin is effective in controlling Lepidoptera (such as diamondback moth and beet armyworm), Diptera, and Thysanoptera pests. It is also effective in controlling certain leaf-eating pests in Coleoptera and Orthoptera. It is not effective against piercing-sucking insects and mites.

Application Methods

1. To control diamondback moth and beet armyworm, apply 18-36 g/hm² of 60% suspension concentrate as active ingredient during the peak larval stage, diluted with water for spraying. This can effectively control their damage.

2. To control rice leaf roller, apply 18-27 g/hm² of 60% suspension concentrate as active ingredient during the peak larval stage, diluted with water for spraying. This can effectively control their damage.

3. To control thrips, apply 9-18 g/hm² of 60% suspension concentrate as active ingredient during the outbreak period, diluted with water for spraying, focusing on tender tissues such as flowers, young fruits, tips, and tender shoots.

Precautions

1. Spinosad may be toxic to fish or other aquatic organisms. Avoid contaminating water sources and ponds.

2. Store the pesticide in a cool, dry place.

3. The last application should be 7 days before harvest. Avoid rain within 24 hours of spraying.

4. Take personal protective measures. If spinosad splashes into eyes, immediately flush with plenty of water. If it comes into contact with skin or clothing, wash with plenty of water or soap. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Do not feed or induce vomiting to unconscious or convulsing individuals; immediately take the patient to the hospital for treatment.
