A UAE Customer Ordered 100kg Of Fipronil 97% TC

Comprehensive Applications of Fipronil

Fipronil, this remarkable chemical, is hailed as a comprehensive control tool for rice paddies, bees, and termites. Whether it's rice stem borers, wasps, or termites, none can escape its powerful control capabilities. Its wide range of applications and significant effects make fipronil an important tool in agricultural production and ecological protection.

Rice Paddy Pest Control

Rice stem borers are a major pest in rice paddies, especially during critical growth stages such as the second generation (mid-season rice) and the third generation (late-season rice), when these pests appear in large numbers, causing the rice to wither and die. To control these pests, farmers usually spray pesticides before transplanting or take a series of measures after transplanting to remove insect eggs from the seedlings. However, these traditional methods are often ineffective and may even damage the seedlings.

Immerse the seedlings, roots and all, in a solution containing fipronil for half a minute, then remove them, drain the solution, and place them in a cool, shady place. Four hours later, transplant the rice seedlings, and after they turn green again, apply a granular insecticide. This effectively solves the problem of the second and third generations of stem borers. Although this method delays transplanting by half a day compared to the traditional method, it saves labor and costs associated with multiple pesticide applications, while ensuring healthy seedling growth and almost completely eliminating heart rot.

Honey and Termite Control

It is particularly important to note that because fipronil is highly toxic to bees, it should only be used once on rice and should be absolutely prohibited from use thereafter. Fipronil is highly toxic to bees.

For termite problems in buildings or furniture, other insecticides often only kill the parts that come into contact with the pesticide. However, using fipronil, one packet diluted in 10-15 catties of water for spraying or drenching, or mixing fipronil with pine sawdust and burying it underground, can effectively eliminate termites.
