Agrochemical.com Chinese website reported: On July 31, 2023, Syngenta launched Tuque™ exoGEM™ fungicide in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA to prevent snow rot on golf courses.
Tuque exoGEM contains the active ingredients SOLATENOL® (an advanced SDHI in FRAC group 7, benzovinfluconazole) and fludioxonil (a conductive contact fungicide in FRAC group 12), using Advanced formula technology, can quickly protect the turf, and can continue to play a role in extreme winter weather conditions.
Stephanie Schwenke, Turf Marketing Manager at Syngenta, said: "If not prevented properly, snow rot can delay the spring opening of golf courses. We are pleased that Tuque exoGEM can bring reliable control effects to course managers. It is now included in GreenTrust® 365 snow rot prevention and control plan, in order to provide golf course managers with more choices, so that they can safely prevent snow rot according to the needs of the golf course.”
Tuque exoGEM is effective on its own against snow rot and is also well suited for tank blending with other Syngenta fungicides including Posterity® XT, Daconil WeatherStik® and Banner Maxx® II.
Superintendents can also use Tuque exoGEM to control seasonal turf diseases including anthracnose, leaf spot and brown spot.
