Terramera recently announced that its latest biopesticide TRIFECTO® has received registration approval from the Mexican Ministry of Health (COFEPRIS). This product is a new biopesticide that combines harmful insect, mite and disease control effects and can be used in organic and conventional cultivation in Mexico.
According to the company, TRIFECTO® is suitable for avocados, berries, melons, tomatoes, bell peppers and leafy vegetables, and is very effective. The product contains 70% cold-pressed neem oil, loaded on a unique inert carrier, which can improve the stability in the barrel. The cold pressing process leaves intact more than 150 bioactive ingredients used to control pests and diseases. The product can be used alone, tank-mixed or rotated with other products, making it ideal for growers to control resistant pests.

Matthew Dahabieh, director of green chemistry solutions at Terramera, said: " The regulatory approval of TRIFECTO® in Mexico is an important milestone in bringing this new crop protection product to the market. We look forward to adding TRIFECTO® to our unique portfolio of biopesticides and continuing to build on the promising results achieved with RAMEX® in the U.S. on specialty crops and SOCORO® in soybeans, corn and row crops.
