The Biopesticide EpiShield Is 53% More Lethal Than Other Insecticide Oils

BioWorks of the United States recently launched the acaricide/insecticide EpiShield, which is developed for growers to use easily and effectively kill insects. The advantages of EpiShield liquid formulation include: application rate is 10-28 times lower than other insecticide oils, no restrictions on re-entry interval and pre-harvest interval, and strong killing effect on major pests. Low use rates greatly reduce the risk of phytotoxicity to plant tissues.

According to Baiwo, EpiShield has a 53% higher pest kill rate than other insecticide oils and can be used indoors and outdoors against mites, aphids, thrips, mealybugs and scale insects. EpiShield causes paralysis, suffocation and dehydration of target pests through contact killing. The active ingredients in EpiShield are clove oil, peppermint oil, and sodium lauryl sulfate. This exclusive formulation is ideal for areas requiring quick spot spray contact treatment.

EpiShield product details

1. Exemption from re-entry quarantine and pre-harvest interval restrictions

2. Usage rate is 10-28 times lower than traditional horticultural mineral oil

3. 45 times less oil applied to plants
