Mode of Action	The preparation method of 4-Amino-2-Chloropyridine is to use isonicotinic acid as raw material and chlorine it with phosphorus oxychloride to obtain 2-chloropyridine-4-carboxylic acid. Then it reacts with ammonia gas to generate the corresponding amide, and then performs Hofmann degradation reaction to obtain the product. It is also possible to use 2-chloropyridine-N-oxide as a raw material, first nitrate with fuming nitric acid, and then reduce it with iron powder in acetic acid to obtain the product.
