It is easily soluble in water and propanol, but insoluble in anhydrous ethanol and benzene. It is stable in neutral or slightly acidic medium and can decompose when heated in alkaline medium. This product is often used as a plant growth regulator. Its main function is to inhibit the elongation of plant cells, but not to inhibit the autolysis, so that plants will not grow too high, but more energy will be put on the growth of stems and leaves. As a result, the output of crops has increased. It can be used for corn, cotton, wheat, rice and other crops.

Application

This product is kind of plant growth regulator. It mostly restrain the biosynthesis of gibberellic acid inside crops when being absorbed by leaves and roots. In this way, it can restrain the elongation of cell, stay the vegetation growth; Make plants shorter and increase content of chlorophyll. This also increases assimilation of leaves and adjusts distribution of outcome inside plants.

Precautions

1. If it is washed by rain within one day after spraying, it must be re-sprayed.
2. The spraying period should not be too early, and the concentration of the agent should not be too high, so as to avoid excessive inhibition of crops and cause phytotoxicity.
3. Treating crops with chlorophyll can not replace fertilization, and fertilizer and water management should still be done in order to exert a better effect of increasing production.
4. Do not mix with alkaline drugs.
