Mode of Action	Under normal circumstances, ethylene combines with metal atoms in receptors in the body, causing the structure of the receptor to change, and then falls off from the receptor, ethylene receptors are activated. 1-MCP is a highly strained molecule. After binding to the receptor metal by its own double bond, its high strain stress and strong receptor inhibitory effect can make 1-MCP firmly bind to the receptor site.
