S-Abscisic Acid (ABA, scientific name: abscisic acid) is a plant hormone and one of the five major types of plant endogenous growth regulators (auxins, gibberellins, cytokinins, ethylene and abscisic acid).

S-Abscisic Acid is widely present in plants. Together with gibberellins, auxins, cytokinins and ethylene, it constitutes the five major plant endogenous hormones. It is used in crops such as rice, vegetables, flowers, lawns, cotton, Chinese herbal medicines, and fruit trees to improve the growth potential and fruiting rate and quality of crops in adverse growth environments such as low temperature, drought, spring cold, salinity, pests and diseases, increase yields, and reduce the use of chemical pesticides.

(1) Inhibit plant transpiration, reduce water loss, extend the shelf life of agricultural products and prevent transplanted seedlings from wilting due to water loss.

(2) Improve the immune function of plants and effectively prevent the occurrence of diseases and pests.
