Every year, piercing-sucking pests such as aphids, thrips, and planthoppers enter their peak period. These pests have the characteristics of fast reproduction, easy outbreak, strong drug resistance, etc., and the speed of drug update is very fast. Today, I recommend a drug for the prevention and control of piercing-sucking pests-Flonicamid.

1. Insecticidal mechanism
Flonicamid is a new type of low-toxic pyridine amide insect growth regulator insecticide. After aphids and other piercing-sucking mouthparts pests feed and inhale plant sap containing flonicamid, they are prevented from sucking sap after a few minutes, and the mouth needle cannot be inserted into the plant tissue. There is no excrement within 1 hour, and they eventually die of starvation.
2. Main features
Flonicamid is a new type of pyridine amide insecticide. In addition to contact and stomach poisoning, it also has good neurotoxicity, good penetration and rapid antifeedant effects.
It can be absorbed by the roots and quickly penetrate into the stems and leaves, playing a positive killing effect; after the pests ingest the agent, they are quickly stopped from sucking juice and stop sucking quickly, so that the mouth needle tissue of sucking pests such as aphids cannot be inserted into plant tissues and kill them.
Moreover, flonicamid has no cross-resistance with imidacloprid, acetamiprid, pymetrozine and other agents widely used in production, and the insecticidal effect is very good.
3. Applicable crops
Flonicamid can be used for apples, pears, peaches, plums, strawberries, cucumbers, melons, watermelons, gourds, cabbages, tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, potatoes, mustard, spinach, lettuce, beans, celery, wheat, corn, cotton, citrus, sunflowers, tea, ornamental plants and other crops.

4. Control objects
It is mainly used to control various types of aphids, greenhouse whiteflies, whiteflies, tea green leafhoppers, brown planthoppers, various types of thrips and other pests.
5. Usage
(1) To control various types of aphids, use 30-50 g of 10% flonicamid water-dispersible granules per mu at the initial stage of the outbreak, add 30-50 kg of water and spray evenly. To achieve the ideal control effect, spray again after 7 days to effectively control the continued harm and spread of aphids. You can also use 15-20 g/mu of 50% fluazifop-pymetrozine water-dispersible granules, add water and spray, which has better quick effect.
(2) To control rice planthoppers and brown planthoppers, use the drug during the peak period of young nymphs of rice planthoppers. Use 70-90 g of 53% fluazifop-pymetrozine wettable powder per mu each time, add water and spray, and focus on spraying evenly and thoroughly on the middle and lower parts of the rice and the front and back of the leaves. The control effect is more prominent.
(3) To control thrips, apply the pesticide when the young nymphs of the pests begin to emerge, after 4 p.m., and use 7 to 8 grams of 50% fluazifop-acetamiprid water-dispersible granules per mu each time. Add 30 kg of water and spray. This can quickly control the spread of thrips.
