Brassinolide is the sixth largest plant hormone recognized internationally. It has the functions of promoting growth, promoting roots in the seedling stage, improving stress resistance, increasing yield and quality, synergizing effects and eliminating phytotoxicity. It is widely used in dozens of major crops such as oil crops, fruit trees, and vegetables.

Currently, there are 5 mainstream registered brassinolide products on the market: 24-mixed epibrassinolide (about 60%-70% is 22, 23, 24-epibrassinolide, about 30%- 40% is 24-epibrassinolide), 24-epibrassinolide, 28-epihomobrassinolide, 28-homobrassinolide, and 14-hydroxybrassinosterol.
Brassinolides have a wide range of applications and can be used in almost all crops; from seed soaking to restoration of tree vigor after harvest, they can be used throughout the entire crop growth process. There are various application methods, such as seed dressing, seed soaking, drip irrigation, root drenching, leaf spraying, aerial spraying, etc.; it has comprehensive effects, convenient mixing, and a wide application concentration range, so it is called a "panacea."
However, in these cases, the "panacea" brassinoids must be banned:
1. It is prohibited to mix with alkaline pesticides and chemical fertilizers
Do not mix brassinolides with alkaline fertilizers: Calcium-magnesium phosphate fertilizer, plant ash, ammonium bicarbonate, sodium nitrate, potassium nitrate, nitro compound fertilizer, ammonia, etc. cannot be mixed with alkaline pesticides: Bordeaux mixture, lime sulfur mixture, etc., otherwise phytotoxicity may occur.
2. Do not mix it with herbicides
Brassinoids can alleviate the damage caused by herbicides. If weeds absorb brassinoids, the weeding effect will be reduced. It is recommended that the two be used at least 7 days apart.

3. Do not spray brassinoids on plots of vigorous growth.
Brassinoids can promote the division of cells in plants and promote growth. If there are flourishing plots, the growth needs to be controlled as soon as possible instead of spraying brassinoids.
4. Do not spray brassinoids on rainy days or when there is rainfall within 6 hours
When brassinoids are sprayed onto crop leaves, it takes a certain amount of time for them to be absorbed by the crops. If it rains, the rain will wash away the solution. At the same time, it will also dilute a certain concentration, which will greatly reduce the effect of brassinoids. Therefore, when spraying brassinoids, check the weather forecast in advance.
5. Brassinolides cannot be used during high temperature periods
Brassinoids should not be sprayed on the leaves at noon, when the temperature is the highest. At this time, the leaves evaporate quickly. First, it is not easy for the crops to absorb. At the same time, it prevents the rapid evaporation of water at high temperatures and increases the concentration of the brassinoids solution.
6. Do not use in high concentrations
Brassinolide is a chemical substance with a bionic sterol structure. It has a certain suitable concentration for use. If the concentration is too high, it will not only cause waste, but also may inhibit crops to varying degrees.
7. Brassinolide is not a foliar fertilizer
Brassinolide is a plant growth regulator and belongs to the category of pesticides, not foliar fertilizers. Brassinolide itself has no nutrients. It indirectly regulates crop growth by regulating the endogenous hormone system of plants, and is very compatible with foliar fertilizers. However, brassinolide itself has no nutrients, so it is necessary to ensure the supply of nutrients and integrate "water, fertilizer, and regulation" so that brassinolide can play a better role in the plant.
Brassinoline classic compound formula
1. Brassinolide + pyraclostrobin
As a methoxyacrylic acid fungicide, pyraclostrobin has the advantages of broad bactericidal spectrum, excellent effect, safety for crops and growth promotion. The compound solution of brassinolide + pyraclostrobin has been favored by a large number of growers.
Its advantages are: synergy and strong quick-acting effect; enhanced disease resistance and reduced drug resistance; promoted growth and reduced phytotoxicity.
2. Brassinolide + Tebuconazole
Tebuconazole is a systemic triazole pesticide fungicide that has three major functions: protection, treatment, and eradication. It has a broad bactericidal spectrum and a long duration of effect. However, tebuconazole itself has a very obvious growth-inhibiting effect. If the concentration and period are not properly controlled during use, it can easily cause slow plant growth.
The formula of brassinolide + tebuconazole can reduce the growth inhibition caused by the use of tebuconazole, and at the same time accelerate the absorption and conduction of tebuconazole by crops, achieving synergistic effects and reducing phytotoxicity.

3. Brassinolide + potassium dihydrogen phosphate
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate is a high-phosphorus and high-potassium foliar fertilizer that can provide high-quality phosphorus and potassium elements to crops. Used in conjunction with brassinolide, it can improve the metabolic level of crops and promote the absorption, conduction and conversion efficiency of potassium dihydrogen phosphate.
The use of brassinolide + potassium dihydrogen phosphate at different times can play multiple functions such as promoting leaf photosynthesis, protecting against cold and frost, resisting drought, resisting dry and hot winds, resisting lodging, increasing fruit setting rate, improving fruit quality and increasing yield.
4. Brassinolide +920
920 is the common name for the plant regulator gibberellic acid. It has the functions of promoting seedling growth, enlarging fruits, and elongating ears on crops. However, improper use can easily cause undesirable consequences such as excessive crop growth, excessive vegetative growth, and deformed fruits.
The combined use of brassinolide + 920 can reduce the risk of phytotoxicity caused by using 920 alone. Brassinolide can balance the endogenous hormones of crops, enhance the photosynthesis of crops, promote balanced growth of crops, and normal fruit enlargement.
Brassinolides are safe and effective, and can be used in various crops in various stages. After years of promotion and application, many excellent compounding solutions have been produced.
