In order to prevent and control various types of pests, it is necessary to frequently spray large amounts of pesticides, which not only increases production investment costs, but also causes pollution to soil, groundwater, air, agricultural products, etc. Today, I recommend a new drug that can control over 100 types of pests. 1. Introduction to Pharmaceuticals
This new drug is cyanraniliprole, the second benzamide insecticide developed by DuPont in the United States, with the trade name "Betamethasone". It is a sister product of chlorpyrifos and one of DuPont's latest three major insecticides. It has a wider range of insecticides than chlorpyrifos. Due to its contact and stomach toxic effects, cyanraniliprole also has good suction properties and high activity against pests with piercing and sucking mouthparts. It is an excellent insecticide that is closer to perfection than chlorpyrifos.
2. Insecticidal principle
Cyrantraniliprole activates the fish nicotine receptor in the body of pests, releasing calcium ions stored in the striated and smooth muscle cells, leading to disrupted muscle movement regulation, paralysis, and ultimately death in pests. Pests will become paralyzed after feeding on food sprayed with this pesticide for a few minutes, stopping their feeding and controlling further harm caused by transmitted pests. This not only prevents insect damage but also effectively prevents the occurrence of viral diseases. It can effectively control pests of Lepidoptera, Hemiptera, and Coleoptera, and is very safe for the environment.
3. Main features
(1) The insecticidal spectrum is wider: It can effectively control hundreds of pests such as cotton bollworm, sugar beet armyworm, white planthopper, tobacco whitefly, American leaf miner, leaf miner, thrips, aphids, rice stem borer, rice stem borer, corn borer, cabbage beetle, yellow striped flea, etc.
(2) Good quick effect: Cyrantraniliprole mainly acts on the fish nicotine receptors in the body of pests, causing them to become paralyzed. The pests can be knocked down in a few minutes, and they will die within a day.
(3) No cross resistance: Cyrantraniliprole has no cross resistance to organophosphorus, carbamate, nicotine and other pesticides, and can quickly kill pests that have developed resistance to nicotine such as imidacloprid, imidacloprid, thiazide, and thiamethoxam.
(4) Good compatibility: Cyrantraniliprole can be mixed with insecticides such as thiamethoxam, trifluorobenzine, imidacloprid, etc., with a wider range of insecticides and more prominent effects.
(5) Low toxicity: Cyrantraniliprole has high activity, low dosage, extremely low toxicity, and low toxicity to environmental organisms such as birds, fish, algae, earthworms, etc. It is registered as a "low-risk" pesticide by the US Environmental Protection Agency. It is the preferred pesticide for producing pollution-free agricultural products.
(6) Long shelf life: Cyrantraniliprole has contact killing and gastric toxic effects, as well as good internal absorption conductivity. It can remain in the crop for a long time and kill pests for a long time, with a shelf life of over 15 days.
4. Applicable crops
At present, Cyantransiliprole is still in the patent protection period, and its sales price is relatively high. It is mainly used for tomatoes, peppers, cowpeas, string beans, apples, pears, grapes, kiwifruit, and other crops with high added value. After the expiration of patent protection, it will be popularized and applied to cotton, soybeans, peanuts, rice and other crops with lower prices.
5. Prevention and control targets
This pesticide can be used to control over 100 types of pests, including tobacco whiteflies, white planthoppers, thrips, aphids, leafhoppers, yellow striped fleas, cotton bollworms, tobacco armyworms, beet armyworm, cabbage armyworm, diamondback moth, bean pod borer, corn borer, and American spot miner.
6. Using technology
(1) To control whitefly, whitefly, thrips, aphids and other pests on cucumber, tomato, pepper, beans and other crops, 10% cyantraniprole can disperse 43-57ml/mu of oil suspension agent, 30~40kg of water, and evenly spray, which can quickly control the harm and spread of the above pests.
(2) To control cotton bollworm, tobacco budworm, beet armyworm, Spodoptera litura and other pests on tomato, pepper, cotton, cowpea and other crops, 10% cyantraniprole can be used to disperse 19.3-24 ml/mu of oil suspension agent, and 30~40 kg of water can be mixed to evenly spray the whole plant leaves, which can better control the continued damage of the above pests.
(3) To control pod borers, stem borers, chilo suppressalis, chilo suppressalis, rice leaf roller, corn borer and other borers on rice, corn, soybean, cowpea and other crops, 10% cyantraniliprole can disperse 20-26ml/mu of oil suspending agent, and 30~40kg of water can be mixed to evenly spray, which can effectively control the continued damage of the above pests.
