Tebuconazole, hexaconazole, difenoconazole, application guidance for triazole fungicides!

Triazoles are widely used in fruits and vegetables, such as powdery mildew, spotted leaf leaf disease, brown spot, scab, etc. Triazole fungicides have the effect of inhibiting crop growth and converting vegetative growth into reproductive growth. These drugs can generally be used at standard concentrations. If the concentration is too high, it may inhibit growth, so it is best not to use it during the flowering stage and young fruit stage. If used, keep it away from flowers and young fruits. Propiconazole and flusilazole inhibited growth the most, tebuconazole was in the middle, and difenoconazole and hexaconazole were relatively safe.

Propiconazole

It can be absorbed by roots, stems and leaves, and can be quickly conducted upward in the plant body. It can prevent and control diseases caused by ascomycetes, basidiomycetes and deuteromycetes, especially for wheat total rot, powdery mildew, rust, root rot, rice diegesis and banana leaf spot.

Tebuconazole

It not only has a triazole-like mode of action, but also develops a second mechanism to inhibit the occurrence of resistance. It can also be formulated with other systemic or non-systemic fungicides to effectively prevent and control cereal and seed-borne diseases. It is mainly used for nearly 30 kinds of diseases in various crops such as Chinese cabbage, strawberry, soybean, Gaoliang, cucumber, bitter melon, pear, apple grape, rice rubber, wheat, corn and so on. The main dosage forms include suspended seed coating agents, dry seed dressing agents, wet seed dressing agents, water-dispersible granules, water emulsions, microemulsions, suspending agents, etc. for seed treatment.

Hexaconazole

The drug has a wide antibacterial spectrum and has broad-spectrum protection and eradication effects on diseases caused by fungi (especially Basidiomycetes and Ascomycetes), and the dosage used is lower than other triazole fungicides. Registered crops include cucumbers, wheat, rice, pear trees, apple trees, peach trees, etc., mainly due to the prevention and control of powdery mildew, scab, sheath blight, brown spot, rust, etc. The main dosage forms used include emulsifiable concentrate, water-dispersible granules, microemulsions, suspensions, etc.

Bendifenoconazole

Difenoconazole is relatively safe among triazole fungicides. It is widely used in fruit trees, vegetables and other crops to effectively prevent and control scab, black pox, white rot, spotted leaf disease, powdery mildew, brown spot, rust, stripe rust, scab, etc.

Myclobutanil

It is a highly efficient, broad-spectrum, systemic, low-toxic triazole fungicide with protective and therapeutic effects. It is used to prevent and control Ascomycota, Deuteromycete and Basidiomycete diseases in a variety of crops, and it is used to prevent and control powdery mildew, scab and other diseases on cucumbers, pears, apples, grapes, bananas and wheat.

The main registered dosage forms include wettable powder, emulsifiable concentrate, water-dispersible granules, water emulsion, microemulsion, suspension concentrate, etc. Seed treatments can prevent a variety of seed-borne and soil-borne diseases in crops such as wheat, barley, corn, cotton and rice. It can also be used to prevent and control storage diseases.

Tebuconazole, Hexaconazole

It is best not to use tebuconazole and hexaconazole in the first two treatments after flowering, because poor concentration control will make the apple fruit stem short and affect fruit enlargement. Difenoconazole is relatively safe and is effective against white powder and black stars.

All three can be used in the last pass before bagging, and the young fruits should be deeply sterilized before bagging.

Within one month after the apple flowers fade, that is, three times before bagging, add at least one azole medicine to prevent and control diseases such as white powder, spotted leaf fall, and brown spots. It is usually carried out at the recommended concentration. For example, 43% tebuconazole is generally used at more than 5,000 times, and 10% phenylene ether is used at more than 5,000 times, which is relatively safe.
