What are the symptoms of various plant growth regulators?

1. Paclobutrazol injury

After the paclobutrazol phytotoxicity occurs in cucumber, there will be dwarf plants, small roots and tubers, deformities, curled leaves, dumb flowers, premature shedding of old leaves at the base, and twisted and shrinking young leaves. For cotton, the plant will be severely dwarfed, the fruit branches cannot be stretched, the leaves are deformed, the buds are clustered, and the buds and bolls are falling. Peanut will have small leaves, no plant growth, small peanut fruit, and premature senescence. Because paclobutrazol is effective for a long time, it will also cause phytotoxicity to the next crop, resulting in no seedling, late emergence, low emergence rate, and seedling deformity and other phytotoxic symptoms.

2. Sodium Nitrophenolate Injury

When sugar beet suffers from mild sodium nitrophenolate phytotoxicity, the prominent symptoms are inhibition of plant growth and poor development of young fruit, and severe phytotoxicity is wilting, yellowing and even death of plants. Sodium nitrophenolate phytotoxicity occurs less frequently, mainly on sensitive crops such as peach trees and watermelons, resulting in crop drop flowers, fruit drop, and hollow fruit.

3. Pharmacokinetics of parotamine

When the cabbage suffers from the phytotoxicity, the leaves become smaller and thicker, the internodes are dense, the buds are clustered, and the plant growth is uneven; Benzylamine has less phytotoxicity on grasses, and its dosage range is wide. The phytotoxicity of parotamine generally does not cause phytotoxicity to the next crop.

4. Ethephon damage

Lighter phytotoxicity is manifested as wilting at the top of the plant, the lower leaves, flowers and young fruit of the plant gradually turn yellow and fall off, and the residual fruit matures in advance. The heavier phytotoxicity is that the leaves of the whole plant quickly turn yellow and fall off, and the fruit quickly matures and falls off, resulting in the death of the whole plant. It is understood that excessive use of ethylene or improper use of time can cause phytotoxicity. But ethephon damage did not affect the next crop.

5. Alpha-naphthalene acetic acid phytotoxicity

Mild phytotoxicity of naphthalene acetic acid manifested as defoliation of flowers and young fruits, which had little effect on plant growth. Heavier phytotoxicity is leaf atrophy, petiole overturning, leaf shedding, and fruit ripening and shedding rapidly. For seed soaking and phytotoxicity, it may lead to few roots and deformed roots, and in severe cases, no roots and no seedlings. Some of the phytotoxic effects of a-naphthaleneacetic acid will produce phytotoxic effects on the next crop, and most of them will not harm the next crop.

6.DA-6 (amine fresh fat) phytotoxicity

The phytotoxicity of DA-6 (amine fresh fat) showed that the leaves had spots, then gradually expanded, gradually changed from light yellow to dark brown, and finally became transparent. DA-6 (amine fresh fat) phytotoxicity only appeared on peach trees. No phytotoxicity has occurred on other crops so far.

7. Triacontanol phytotoxicity

When triacontanol is used in a large amount or with low purity, it will cause the leaf sheath to be bent and the root to be deformed in the seedling stage, and the young leaves will be curled in the adult plant.

8. Brassinolidephytotoxicity

Brassinolide phytotoxicity often manifests as wild growth of plants, few and small fruits, and the formation of stiff fruits in the later stage.

9. Gibberellin poisoning

Gibberellin phytotoxicity is often manifested as fruit stiffness, cracking, fruit taste astringent, and plants are greedy and late.

10. Chlorpheniramine Injury

Chlormetrodin phytotoxicity often manifests as severe dwarfing of plants, fruit branches cannot be stretched, leaves are deformed, chicken feet and leaves appear, overgrown buds, fruit branches are too short between nodes, plant branches and leaves are brittle and easily broken. Seed soaking phytotoxicity is often manifested as bent roots, serious young leaves that do not grow, delayed emergence of seedlings for about 7 days, and twisted deformities after emergence. Chlormetrodin is easy to cause phytotoxicity to dicotyledonous plants, but not easy to cause phytotoxicity to monocotyledonous plants. The chlorophyll phytotoxicity generally does not affect the next crop.

11. 2,4-D Injury

Symptoms of mild phytotoxicity of tomato 2,4-D include soft and curved petioles, drooping leaves, rolling of the top heart leaves, deformed leaves, deformed fruits, hollow fruits and cracked fruits. Severe phytotoxicity is manifested as drooping of most of the leaves of the plant, serious rolling of the heart leaves, deformity and shrinkage, shrinkage and necrosis of the growing point of the plant, and the whole plant gradually wilts and dies.

Therefore, when 2,4-D is used improperly, it will cause the same harm as a herbicide, mainly for dicotyledonous plants, but less for monocotyledonous plants.
