What is the difference between suspension (SC) and suspoemulsion (SE)?

The active ingredient (ie, the suspension concentrate) of the suspension concentrate is solid particles, and the suspoemulsion is small oil droplets; the surfactant used in the uspension concentrate is a dispersing agent, and the suspoemulsion is an emulsifier.

uspension concentrate is mainly a solid-liquid dispersion system, while suspoemulsion is a mixture of solid-liquid dispersion system and liquid-liquid dispersion system. Generally, suspoemulsion has two active ingredients, one is solid and the other is liquid (solid dissolved in organic in solvent).

In fact, suspoemulsion is a mixture of uspension concentrate and emulsifiable concentrate according to a certain process

Suspended emulsion, also known as suspoemulsion, is a high suspension concentrate system composed of a liquid original drug and a solid original drug.

suspension concentrate emulsion (suspension concentrate emulsion or suspoemulsion, abbreviated SE) is a new formulation formed by mixing water-insoluble solid pesticides and water-insoluble liquid pesticides. It is suitable for mixed processing of solid pesticides with poor fat solubility and water solubility and liquid pesticides with poor water solubility.

Since liquid and solid pesticide actives can exist simultaneously in suspoemulsion, it can be used for water-based formulation of pesticide formulations and has broad prospects for development. The processing method and quality standard are basically the same as the suspension concentrate .
