Introduction to Fluopicolide
Fluopicolide is a pyridine amide fungicide, a compound preparation of Fluopicolide·Fluorocarb, which is mainly used to control downy mildew, blight, damping-off, etc. It is an excellent fungicide for controlling resistant downy mildew, blight, etc. Oomycetes.
Fungicide mechanism
Fluopicolide mainly acts on the hemoglobin in the cell membrane, inhibits cell mitosis, thereby destroying the stability of the cell membrane of ascomycetes and oomycetes, and ultimately killing the pathogen. The agent has excellent systemic conductivity and strong thin layer penetration. It can be transmitted to the leaves and roots of the lower part of the plant through stem and leaf application. Conversely, it can also be transmitted from the roots to the young leaves and growth points of the plant. It has a long-lasting fungicidal and protective effect, and can provide comprehensive and lasting protection for new leaves, stems, tubers, and young fruits.

Main features
(1) Protective and therapeutic effects: This agent is mainly used to prevent and treat Oomycete diseases, such as downy mildew, blight, damping-off, late blight, etc., and has protective, therapeutic and eradication effects.
(2) Good compatibility: This agent can be combined with agents such as parathion, phosphoenol, mancozeb, etc., and has more prominent effects on downy mildew, blight and late blight. It is currently the only agent for treating severe downy mildew.
Applicable crops
It can be widely used in high-value-added crops such as cucumbers, watermelons, grapes, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, melons, etc. With the decline in prices, the scope of use of this agent will be further expanded.
Targets of prevention and control
It mainly prevents and treats Oomycete diseases such as downy mildew, blight, late blight, damping-off, etc., and has an eradication effect on the most serious downy mildew.
Usage
(1) To control downy mildew of crops such as cucumbers, grapes, and cabbage, 60-75 ml/mu of 687.5 g/L Fluopicolide·Propamocarb suspension can be used, diluted with 30 kg of water, and sprayed evenly on the front and back of the leaves of the whole plant to quickly control the continued harm and spread of downy mildew.
(2) To control late blight of cucumbers, grapes, melons, 150-167 g/mu of 71% fosetyl-aluminium·Fluopicolide suspension can be used, diluted with 30 kg of water and sprayed evenly, which can effectively control the continued spread of the disease.
