Root-knot nematode disease, sclerotinia, powdery mildew, gray mold, early blight, etc. are the most common and most serious diseases on many crops. These diseases have the characteristics of fast spread, serious harm, and difficulty in eradication. Especially root-knot nematode disease, which mainly harms underground roots, is more difficult to prevent and control, which is a headache for farmers. Today, I recommend a very good fungicide-fluopyram. Just dip the roots with this agent to achieve a good prevention and control effect.
1. Introduction to the agent
Due to its outstanding effect in preventing and controlling root-knot nematode disease, gray mold, powdery mildew, leaf mold, gray mold and other diseases, especially in preventing and controlling root-knot nematodes, it is the first high-efficiency, low-toxic, environmentally friendly nematicide, which has attracted widespread attention.
2. Mechanism of action
Fluopyram is a succinate inhibitor. Pathogens need a lot of energy in their activities. Energy is generated by mitochondria. There are some enzymes in the inner membrane of mitochondria. This enzyme is called succinate active enzyme. Electron transfer needs to go through a series of checkpoints and be transformed by these enzymes before energy can be generated.
Fluopyram inhibits the activity of succinate dehydrogenase on the inner membrane of mitochondria, preventing electron transfer and thus interfering with its respiration to kill the pathogen. After the nematodes are treated with fluopyram, the nematodes quickly become stiff and needle-shaped, and their activity drops sharply. It kills pests and diseases quickly.
3. Main features
(1) Bactericidal and insecticidal: Fluopyram can be used to control more than 10 diseases such as powdery mildew, gray mold, leaf mold, sclerotinia, leaf spot, etc., and can also effectively control the most difficult to control root-knot nematodes.
(2) High activity: Fluopyram has high activity. The dosage of other pesticides for controlling root-knot nematodes is calculated in kilograms, while that of fluopyram is calculated in milligrams. Only 0.024-0.03 ml is needed for one plant to effectively control the damage of root-knot nematodes.
(3) Long lasting effect: Fluopyram has good systemic conduction characteristics. Fluopyram has good stability in the soil and can be continuously absorbed by the roots of crops to achieve the purpose of insecticide and fungicide. The effective period for controlling root-knot nematodes can reach more than 80 days.

(4) High efficiency and low toxicity: According to the toxicity classification of pesticides in my country, fluopyram is a low-toxic fungicide and nematicide. It is currently the only fast-acting low-toxic nematicide.
4. Applicable crops
Since fluopyram can be widely used in wheat, peanuts, tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelons, melons, cabbages, grapes and other crops, but since the agent is still under patent protection, the price is relatively high and the cost is obviously high. At present, it is mainly used for economic crops with high added value such as tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelons, melons, grapes, etc.

5. Control targets
It is mainly used to control root-knot nematodes, powdery mildew, gray mold, leaf mold, sclerotinia, leaf spot, brown rot and other diseases.

6. Application technology
(1) Prevention and control of root-knot nematode diseases in crops such as cucumbers, watermelons, tomatoes, eggplants, and strawberries: When planting, dip the roots in 1000-fold dilution of 41.7% fluopyram suspension before planting, or irrigate the roots with 15,000-20,000-fold dilution of 41.7% fluopyram suspension, 200 ml per plant, and then cover with soil. This can effectively prevent the damage of root-knot nematodes, powdery mildew, gray mold, sclerotinia, brown rot, leaf spot, and other pests and diseases, and the effective period can reach more than 80 days.
(2) Prevention and control of powdery mildew, gray mold, anthracnose, vine blight, and other diseases in crops such as cucumbers, tomatoes, watermelons, and strawberries can be achieved by using 25-30 ml/mu of 35% fluopyram·tebuconazole suspension. Add 30-40 kg of water and spray evenly to effectively control the occurrence and spread of the above diseases.
