Imidacloprid has been on the market for over 40 years. Its safety, high efficacy, and cost-effectiveness have made it a widely favored insecticide. However, with increasing pest resistance and the growing complexity of pest problems, using it alone often fails to achieve the desired results. It is recommended to combine imidacloprid with other types of insecticides, which can broaden the spectrum of control, produce synergistic effects, reduce the development of pest resistance, and enhance overall efficacy, effectively addressing many challenging pest issues.

Imidacloprid+Lambda-Cyhalothrin
Imidacloprid is a neonicotinoid insecticide that acts on the nervous system of pests. It is systemic, allowing the active ingredient to move within the plant and control insects effectively. Lambda-cyhalothrin, on the other hand, is a pyrethroid insecticide with contact and stomach toxicity, capable of rapidly knocking down pests. When used in combination, their modes of action are complementary, broadening the insecticidal spectrum and significantly enhancing control of both sucking and chewing pests, while also helping to delay the development of pest resistance.
Key Features
Broad-spectrum control:Effective against a wide range of pests, including aphids, planthoppers, thrips, leafhoppers, cabbage worms, and cotton bollworms.
Rapid and long-lasting efficacy: Lambda-cyhalothrin quickly knocks down pests, while imidacloprid provides systemic, residual control, with a duration of up to 20–25 days.
Usage and Dosage
Control of aphids in wheat: Mix 10% imidacloprid wettable powder at 1:1000–1:1500 dilution with 2.5% lambda-cyhalothrin emulsifiable concentrate at 1:2000–1:3000 dilution, and spray 450–600 liters of spray solution per hectare.
Control of aphids and cabbage worms in vegetables: Mix 10% imidacloprid wettable powder at 1:1500 dilution with 2.5% lambda-cyhalothrin emulsifiable concentrate at 1:2000 dilution, and spray 450–675 liters of spray solution per hectare.
Control of cotton bollworms in cotton: Mix 10% imidacloprid wettable powder at 1:1000 dilution with 2.5% lambda-cyhalothrin emulsifiable concentrate at 1:1500 dilution, and spray 675–900 liters of spray solution per hectare evenly.
Suitable Crops
Applicable to a wide range of crops, including cereals such as wheat and corn, vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, and cabbage, fruit trees such as apples and citrus, as well as cotton and other crops.
Imidacloprid+Abamectin
Imidacloprid primarily targets sucking pests, while abamectin is a broad-spectrum avermectin insecticide with both stomach and contact toxicity, providing effective control of mites and lepidopteran pests. When used in combination, the two insecticides enhance control of aphids, spider mites, leafminers, and other pests on vegetables, fruit trees, and other crops.
Key Features
Insecticidal and acaricidal, with synergistic effect: The combination produces a synergistic effect, controlling both insects and mites simultaneously, reducing the number of applications, and significantly improving efficacy against resistant pests such as diamondback moths and red spider mites.
Strong penetration: The strong penetrative property of abamectin, combined with the systemic activity of imidacloprid, allows the formulation to act more effectively.
Usage and Dosage
Vegetables – diamondback moths: Mix 10% imidacloprid wettable powder at 1:1500 dilution with 1.8% abamectin emulsifiable concentrate at 1:3000 dilution, and spray 450–675 liters of solution per hectare.
Fruit trees – red spider mites and aphids: Mix 10% imidacloprid wettable powder at 1:1000 dilution with 1.8% abamectin emulsifiable concentrate at 1:2000 dilution, and spray 675–900 liters of solution per hectare.
Citrus – leafminers: Mix 10% imidacloprid wettable powder at 1:1000 dilution with 1.8% abamectin emulsifiable concentrate at 1:3000 dilution, and spray 600–750 liters of solution per hectare.
