Best Agrolife Subsidiary Launches New Pyraclostrobin Product Defender in India

Recently, Seedlings India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of India's Best Agrolife, has received approval from the Central Insecticides Commission (CIBRC) to locally produce the innovative formula fungicide Defender (3.03% pymetrozine + 10% dinotefuran + 20% pyrazofen ester).

It said this innovative formula will significantly enhance crop health and productivity. Provides four times greater protection than traditional solutions against fungal diseases such as early blight, frogeye leaf spot, Alternaria leaf spot and Alternaria leaf blight.

Pyraclostrobin, also called pyraclostrobin, was first discovered by BASF in Germany in 1993. It is a methoxyacrylate broad-spectrum fungicide with a pyrazole structure. Registered and launched in 2001, its mechanism of action is to inhibit mitochondrial respiration, causing cell death, thus achieving the purpose of sterilization. It has good mixability and can be compounded with a variety of pharmaceuticals. It has good compounding effects with difenoconazole, difenoconazole, dimethomorph, etc., and it also has synergistic effects.
