Corteva has launched a new Beauveria bassiana bio-insecticide Tezpetix Beauve, which contains the exclusive Beauveria bassiana Simbi BB 15 isolate.
Tezpetix Beauve can be used as a supplement to chemical pesticides against Dalbulus maidis, one of the main pests afflicting corn farming. The product is included in the integrated pest management program, which can effectively avoid the yield loss caused by Dalbulus maidis.
In addition, the product is recommended for various crops such as Bemisia tabaci, Dichelops melacanthus, Euschistus heroos and Hypothenemus hampei.
In addition to Tezpetix Beauve, Corteva Corporation also introduced Inlayon, a bionematicide for soybeans and cotton, and Inlayon Eco for sugarcane, to attendees who visited its booth. These products are effective against the major nematodes that damage crops. Both products contain an isolate of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens SIMBI BS 10 (CCT 7600), isolated from Brazilian soil, which targets a wider range of pests and is more likely to colonize plants.
