Mechanism of Action
Etoxazole is a diphenyloxazoline derivative. Its mode of action is mainly to inhibit the synthesis of chitin, hinder the embryo formation of mite eggs and the molting process from young mites to adult mites, so it can effectively prevent and control the entire juvenile stage of mites. It is effective for eggs and young mites, but not for adult mites.
Main Features
Etoxazole is a non-thermosensitive, contact-type, selective acaricide with a unique structure. It is safe and efficient with a long lasting effect. It can effectively prevent and control harmful mites that are resistant to existing acaricides, and has good resistance to rain erosion. If there is no heavy rain 2 hours after the drug is applied, there is no need to re-spray.
Scope of Application
It is mainly used to control crops such as citrus, cotton, apples, flowers, and vegetables.
Target of prevention and control
It has excellent prevention effect on spider mites, early spider mites and panonychus mites, such as two-spotted leafhoppers, cinnabar spider mites, citrus red spiders, hawthorn (grape) spider mites, etc.
