‌Imidacloprid is a nitromethylene systemic insecticide, belonging to the chlorinated nicotinyl insecticide, also known as neonicotinoid insecticide. It has the characteristics of broad spectrum, high efficiency, low toxicity and low residue. Pests are not easy to develop resistance. It has multiple effects such as contact killing, stomach poisoning and systemic absorption. Imidacloprid causes paralysis and death of pests by hindering the normal conduction of the central nervous system of pests. Its main use is to control piercing-sucking mouthparts pests, such as aphids, planthoppers, whiteflies, leafhoppers, thrips, etc. ‌

Application method

‌Seed dressing use‌:

Before sowing seeds of wheat, corn, potatoes, garlic, peanuts, soybeans, etc., 70% imidacloprid can be used for seed dressing to effectively prevent the damage of pests such as grubs, aphids, thrips, planthoppers, etc., and the effective period is about 80-120 days. ‌3
‌Soil treatment‌:

When sowing, you can use 70% imidacloprid water-dispersible granules 1000-2000 g/mu, mix with 15-20 kg of organic fertilizer, evenly spread on the soil surface and then sow, effectively preventing the harm of pests such as aphids, thrips, and planthoppers, and the effective period can reach more than 90 days.
‌Hole application‌:

When planting crops such as cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers, you can use 70% imidacloprid water-dispersible granules 500-1000 g, mix with 30-50 kg of organic fertilizer, and then apply it in holes. Mix it with the surrounding soil and then plant crops, which can effectively prevent the harm of various pests.
‌Spray‌:

To prevent and control fruit tree pests: such as citrus aphids, whiteflies, apple aphids, etc., you can use 5% imidacloprid emulsifiable concentrate or 5% imidacloprid soluble concentrate 600-800 times for spraying, and spray multiple times according to the type of pests and growth cycle. ‌
Prevention and control of vegetable pests: such as aphids, leafhoppers, whiteflies, etc. of cruciferous vegetables, use the same method for spraying.
