Syngenta's New Triflufenac-hydroxylamine Cereal Fungicide MIRAVIS® Plus Has Been Registered in The UK

Recently, Syngenta said that its new cereal fungicide MIRAVIS® Plus has been registered in the UK. This product contains the SDHI active ingredient ADEPIDYN® (trifenpyridin) and can be used on a wide range of arable crops including winter wheat, spring wheat and barley. Effectively prevents and controls wheat leaf blight, head blight, barley net spot, leaf spot and moire disease, and has significant control effects on DON mycotoxins.

On April 3, 2024, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) officially approved the active substance triflufenac. On April 5, the HSE authorized the fungicide MIRAVIS® Plus for use on various arable crops and will be put on the market together with the triazole fungicide prothioconazole.

ADEPIDYN® has been registered and used in many wheat-growing countries around the world, and can significantly increase yields. At present, Miravis has become the leading brand of fungicides in the Canadian market.
