According to the U.S. Federal Register, on November 27, 2023, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued Regulation No. 2023-25871 to revise the residue limits of the herbicide Tolpyralate in some foods.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency conducted a risk assessment on its toxicity, dietary exposure, and effects on infants and young children, and ultimately concluded that the following residue limits are safe. The proposed revisions are as follows:
It is understood that this regulation will take effect on November 27, 2023, and objections or hearing requests must be submitted before January 26, 2024.
