On December 5, 2023, Ukraine issued a notification to amend the "Regulations on the Supervision of Pesticides and Agrochemicals."
This revision will propose new requirements for the information that should be indicated on the labels of pesticides and agricultural chemicals. Starting from January 1, 2024, agricultural chemicals imported into the Ukrainian customs territory for production, trade, and use without national registration, as well as pesticides and agricultural chemicals registered and allowed to be used in Ukraine as of December 31, 2023, can be imported into the Ukrainian customs territory and/or circulated in Ukraine until their expiration date, The premise is that its packaging and labeling comply with the relevant requirements of Ukrainian pesticide and agrochemical legislation.
The comment period for this regulation ends on February 3, 2024.
