Brazil's Biotro recently announced the launch of Bioasis Power to help crops prevent and resist water and climate stress. The product consists of three types of microorganisms. One is Bacillus circulans, which is responsible for producing plant hormones and promoting plant growth. Another species, Bacillus afezii , forms exopolysaccharides, a family of biofilms that help crops store water and resist oxidation. The Bacillus heinei in the product can maintain cell tension and help plants resist high temperatures.
According to Biotrop, its combination of ingredients enables the product to effectively and directly address the root cause of the problem, providing greater safety to plants and increasing stress resistance, thereby protecting farmers' profits. The product's benefits include: reducing early risks to crops during adverse conditions, increasing the activity of beneficial microorganisms in the soil, helping to increase productivity, and protecting plants from the effects of drought and climate stress. The product is suitable for all crops and can be used as a seed treatment or applied in furrows, has a shelf life of 24 months and does not require refrigeration.
