Application of Nitenpyram·Pymetrozine!

Aphids, planthoppers, and whiteflies are the most widespread, fastest-growing, most harmful, and most difficult to control piercing-sucking pests. They seriously threaten agricultural production, and many plots suffer serious yield reductions every year. Today I recommend a classic formula for controlling piercing-sucking pests such as aphids, planthoppers, and whiteflies. It has the characteristics of good quick-acting, long-lasting effect, and low price, and is very popular among farmers.

1. Introduction to the formula

This formula is Nitenpyram·Pymetrozine, which is a compound insecticide of nitenpyram and Pymetrozine, especially effective against piercing-sucking pests such as aphids, rice planthoppers, and thrips. Pymetrozine is a pyridine or triazone insecticide, which mainly acts as a contact and stomach poison.

It has a unique stylet blocking effect. Once aphids, rice planthoppers and other piercing-sucking pests feed on crops with this agent, the stylet blocking effect will occur instantly and they will stop feeding. This process is irreversible and the pests will eventually die of starvation within 1 to 2 days.

Nitenpyram is a nicotinamide insecticide with strong permeability and systemic conductivity. It mainly acts on the nervous system of pests. After the pests come into contact with the agent, they will be paralyzed by blocking nerve conduction and eventually die.

The combination of the two has a significant synergistic effect, can knock down pests instantly, has a long lasting effect, and prevents pests from developing resistance. It is known as the most classic formula for controlling piercing-sucking pests such as aphids and rice planthoppers.

2. Main dosage forms

Nitenpyram·Pymetrozine is a classic formula for controlling piercing-sucking pests. Currently, more than 10 manufacturers in my country have registered for production. The main dosage forms include 30%, 40%, 60% wettable powders, 30%, 40% water-dispersible granules and other dosage forms.

3. Main features

(1) Broad insecticide spectrum: This formula can be widely used to control a variety of pests such as aphids, planthoppers, whiteflies, and leafhoppers. The control range is very wide, achieving the purpose of one drug for multiple uses.

(2) Long lasting effect: Due to its strong permeability and systemic conductivity, this formula can exist in the crop body for a long time, and the general lasting effect can reach 15 to 20 days.

(3) Good low temperature resistance: The efficacy of this formula is not limited by temperature when used, and it can normally exert its insecticidal activity under ultra-low temperature conditions.

(4) Good safety: This formula is very safe for crops and can be used in the most sensitive periods of crops such as seedling stage, flowering stage, and young fruit stage. It is one of the safest agents for controlling piercing-sucking pests.

4. Applicable crops

This formula can be widely used in wheat, corn, rice, cotton, tea, peanuts, soybeans, tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, watermelons, cucumbers, pumpkins, zucchini, apples, pears, citrus and other crops. It can also be used for flowers, Chinese medicinal materials, etc. The scope of use is very wide.

5. Control objects

This formula can effectively control pests such as aphids, rice planthoppers, whiteflies, whiteflies, leafhoppers, brown planthoppers, gray planthoppers, whiteback planthoppers, pear psyllids, and greenhouse whiteflies.

6. Usage

(1) Use for vegetables: for crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelons, eggplants, and peppers, in the early stage of aphids and whiteflies, 10% Nitenpyram soluble liquid 8-12 g + 50% Pymetrozine wettable powder 8-12 g/mu, or 40% Nitenpyram·Pymetrozine water-dispersible granules 10-15 g/mu can be evenly sprayed to quickly control the damage of pests and prevent the spread of viral diseases.

(2) Use for crops: for crops such as rice and corn, in the early stage of rice planthoppers, gray planthoppers, thrips and other pests, 40% Nitenpyram·Pymetrozine wettable powder 15-20 g, mixed with 15-20 kg of water, can be evenly sprayed to effectively control the continued damage of pests.

(3) Use on fruit trees: For fruit trees such as apples, pears, and citrus, in the early stages of an infestation of pests such as aphids, psyllids, and leafhoppers, 60% Pymetrozine·Nitenpyram water-dispersible granules can be evenly sprayed at a dilution of 2,000 to 3,000 times to effectively control the continued damage and spread of the pests, with a duration of more than 20 days.
