What is trifloxystrobin used for?

Preventing and controlling various diseases and insect pests has always been the most important task for people to achieve high yields and harvests. With the efforts of scientists, new pesticide varieties have been continuously introduced to the market, making great contributions to the effective control of diseases and insect pests. In particular, the introduction of azoxystrobin has a good prevention, treatment and eradication effect on almost all fungal diseases, creating a new era of fungicides. However, due to years of use, the resistance of pathogens has become stronger and stronger, and the prevention and control effect has been greatly reduced. Today, I recommend a new fungicide, trifloxystrobin, which has a better prevention and control effect on diseases than trifloxystrobin.

1. Introduction to the agent

Trifloxystrobin is a methoxyacrylate fungicide. It is a respiratory chain inhibitor that blocks the synthesis of enzymes in pathogen cells by locking the electron transfer between cytochromes, thereby inhibiting its mitochondrial respiration and exerting a bactericidal effect.

It has multiple functions such as high efficiency, broad spectrum, protection, treatment, and eradication for pathogens. It also has the characteristics of strong permeability, good systemic absorption, resistance to rain erosion, and long lasting effect. It has a good control effect on almost all fungal diseases of Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes, Oomycetes and Deuteromycetes, especially powdery mildew, leaf spot, anthracnose, rust, rust, rust, downy mildew, rice blast and other diseases.

2. Main features

(1) Broad fungicide spectrum: Trifloxystrobin has a good control effect on almost all fungal diseases, especially powdery mildew, anthracnose, leaf spot, rust, downy mildew, rice blast and other diseases.

(2) Thorough disease treatment: Trifloxystrobin has strong permeability and good systemic absorption. It has a good killing effect on pathogens on the surface and inside of crops. It has multiple functions such as prevention, protection, treatment and eradication, and can treat diseases more thoroughly.

(3) Good compatibility: Trifloxystrobin belongs to the methoxyacrylate fungicide class and also has a good mixing effect. It can be mixed with dozens of insecticides and fungicides such as tebuconazole, propiconazole, amino oligosaccharides, prochloraz, quinoline copper, thiophanate-methyl, difenoconazole, cymoxanil, etc., and the synergistic effect is very obvious. In particular, the combination with tebuconazole has become the best formula for compound fungicides. It has been registered and produced by hundreds of companies in many countries in the world and is widely used in production.

(4) No cross-resistance: Trifloxystrobin has no cross-resistance with existing fungicides. For diseases that have developed resistance to other drugs, the use of trifloxystrobin has an outstanding control effect.

Trifloxystrobin application

(5) Long lasting effect: Trifloxystrobin not only has strong permeability, but also has good systemic conductivity. The drug can penetrate into the cells through the leaves and be transmitted to various parts of the plant. It exists in the plant for a long time and has a continuous control effect on diseases. The lasting effect can reach more than 15 days.

(6) High efficiency and low toxicity: Trifloxystrobin is a high efficiency and low toxicity fungicide. Except for its high toxicity to aquatic organisms, it is low toxic to birds, bees, silkworms, and earthworms, and has little pollution to the environment.

3. Applicable crops

Trifloxystrobin is very safe and can be widely used in wheat, corn, peanuts, soybeans, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, cucumbers, watermelons, melons, pumpkins, cabbages, kale, cauliflowers, apples, pear trees, walnuts, grapes, kiwis, green dates, litchis, longans, mangoes and many other crops.

4. Control targets

Trifloxystrobin can be used to control almost all fungal diseases such as downy mildew, powdery mildew, leaf spot, anthracnose, brown spot, black pox, blight, early blight, late blight, rice blast, rust, vine blight, sedge blight, web spot, and fusarium head blight.

5. Application technology

(1) To prevent and control cucumber powdery mildew, 30% trifloxystrobin·tebuconazole suspension 25-37.5 ml/mu can be used at the early stage of the disease, and 30-40 kg of water can be added for uniform spraying, which can quickly control the spread of the disease and have an eradication effect.

(2) To prevent and control watermelon anthracnose, 50% benzoyl·trifloxystrobin water dispersible granules 15-25 g/mu can be used at the early stage of the disease, and 30 kg of water can be added for uniform spraying, which can effectively control the continued harm of the disease.

(3) To prevent and control leaf mold, anthracnose, vine blight and other diseases of tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelons, peppers and other vegetables, 43% fluopicolide·trifloxystrobin suspension 15-25 ml/mu can be used, and 30-40 kg of water can be added for uniform spraying, which can quickly control the development of the above diseases, and can also increase vegetable yields and improve vegetable quality.

(4) To prevent and control blight of green onions and garlic, at the early stage of the disease, use 75% oxime·cymoxanil water-dispersible granules at 15-20 g/mu, add 30-40 kg of water and spray evenly, which can quickly control the continued spread and harm of the disease.
