Brazil Forbids The Use Of Pesticides in The Country!

On August 8th, local time, the Brazilian National Health Supervision Agency (Anvisa) issued a resolution to prohibit the use of fungicides in the country.

Multi -bacteria are approved for cotton, sugar cane, barley, citrus, beans, apples, corn, soybean and wheat crops, and can also be used to handle cotton, rice, beans, corn and soybean seeds. According to ANVISA, Multilason is banned due to its potential mutation, reproductive toxicity, and toxicity of fetal and newborn development.

In December 2019, Anvisa began re -evaluating the bacterial spirit. As part of the re -evaluation process, in June this year, the agency suspended the import, production, distribution and commercialization of multi -bacterial spirit.

Multiococcus is one of the 20 most commonly used pesticides in Brazil. As of August 2022, a total of 41 preparation products and 33 original pharmaceutical products were registered in Brazil, involving 24 companies.

Brazil's disabled processing process will be gradual, and it must be completed within 12 months. The resolution requires that the production of multi -bacterial spirit will be stopped within three months from the date of making a decision.

The Brazilian Environment and Renewable Natural Resources Research Institute (IBAMA) has approved the decision to stop using the fungal spirit within 12 months. The agency believes that consumption of existing inventory will be the least impact on the environment.
