On March 22, 2022, the European Union issued Regulation (EU) 2022/456 to approve the basic substance chitosan (Chitosan). These Regulations shall come into effect on the 20th day from the date of promulgation.
The corresponding entry is added to Annex Part C of EU Regulation (EU) No 540/2011, numbered 24. The specific approval information is as follows:
