India's Dhanuka Agritech Launches Herbicide Tizom (chlorpyrazosulfuron + Mesotrione)

Recently, Indian agrochemical company Dhanuka Agritech Limited announced the launch of new herbicide Tizom. Tizom was developed by Dhanuka Agritech in cooperation with Japan's Nissan Chemical. It contains two active ingredients: chlorpyrazosulfuron-methyl 6% and mesotrione 50% WG. It can effectively control narrow-leaf weeds, broad-leaf weeds and sedges, and is used by sugarcane growers to control weeds in sugarcane crops and increase the sugarcane planting income of the farm.

One of the main advantages of Tizom is that it can target and kill weeds without threatening the sugarcane crop, and control weeds for a long time, ensuring that sugarcane fields are weed-free for a long time.

Rahul Dhanuka, joint managing director of Dhanuka Agritech, said Tizom will further enhance its sugarcane product portfolio and provide great help to sugarcane growers. Tizom is the 10th product launched by Dhanuka Agritech in this financial year after launching 6 biological products, 2 herbicides and 1 insecticide. Dhanuka Agritech has aggressive growth plans for this financial year and will launch 3-4 more products within six months.

Dhanuka Agritech also said that selectivity is crucial to protect sugarcane plants from weeds and ensure optimal crop growth and harvest. Tizom will remove a major hurdle for Indian sugarcane growers, simplifying crop management and increasing yields.

Currently, Tizom is available in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, and the product will be launched in other states.
