Nortox will launch Arkeiro Nortox, a three-in-one herbicide. The product is compounded with three active ingredients, flunacil, imazethapyr and chlorimuron-methyl. It adopts WG dosage form, has a wide spectrum of action, is selective for soybean crops, and is specially developed for the control of difficult-to-manage weeds.
Weeds are present throughout Brazil's agricultural production system, with nearly 30 million hectares of soybean crops containing wineweeds. Studies by Up Herb et al. have shown that having up to two Digitaria insularis plants per square meter can result in a soybean crop yield loss of more than 15%. During the entire planting cycle of the crop, 1 to 3 sagegrass per square meter can lead to a 24% reduction in crop yield.

Arkeiro Nortox can precisely control weeds. Its outstanding features are systemic and contact effects and residual effects. It can also effectively control weeds resistant to glyphosate. This product is suitable for pre- and post-emergence weed drying and is specifically registered for soybean crops. Its biological targets include Conyza spp., Euphorbia heterophylla, Raphanus sativus, Richardia brasiliensis, Spermacoce latifolia, Bidens pilosa and Amaranthus.
The herbicide Arkeiro Nortox can be applied seven days before soybean planting or through a planting/application system. In terms of dosage, the application dosage of this product must be 200 g/ha, and the amount of liquid medicine must be between 100 and 200 liters/ha.
To demonstrate the agronomic efficiency of the product, Nortox traveled to various regional offices and worked with research institutions. The product is first agronomically developed in a research institution, then analyzed by consultants, technicians and researchers, and its efficiency, and after the technical results are obtained, the results are communicated to the target audience. A total of 22 research institutes, consulting companies and research centers participated in the campaign, fully demonstrating the effectiveness of Arkeiro Nortox in controlling difficult-to-control weeds.
In summary, the main features of Arkeiro Nortox are the ability to control glyphosate tolerant and resistant weeds, avoid initial weed competition, be selective for soybean crops, increase productivity, and mitigate the effects of post-emergence herbicides on soybean crops In addition, it can also control broad-spectrum weeds (broadleaf and grass weeds), has stronger residual effect, facilitates logistics and operation, has no residual effect on subsequent crops, and prevents pre-emergent and post-emergent effects of weeds , and aids in weed control following the use of nonselective herbicides.
