1. Preparation of storage solution (1 mg/mL): Weigh 100 mg of 6-BAP into a 100 mL volumetric flask or beaker, add 2 to 5 mL of 1M NaOH to dissolve the powder first. Once completely dissolved, bring to 100 mL with deionized water. Keep stirring while adding water to volume to keep the powder in the liquid. The storage solution should be stored at 2 to 8°C.
Note: The 1mg/mL storage solution can be filtered and sterilized with a 0.2μm filter membrane before storage.
2. Preparation of working solution: The working concentration range of 6-BAP for plant cell culture is 0.1 ~ 10 mg/L. The specific concentration is adjusted according to actual needs. For example, add 1 mL of storage solution to 1 L of plant culture medium to obtain a 6-BAP working solution with a final concentration of 1 mg/L.
